• Online Resources – Use websites like Wikipedia or state University extension offices to look up the taxonomy of each plant. Pay particular attention to the plant family. Once you know the plant family, you’ll be able to see characteristics that it shares with other plants within that same family, which will help you be able to recognize it more quickly and easily.
